Time to make subs!

All of you who sold subs...we are making them on Saturday morning (the 25th) in the High School commons. Be at the school at 9:30 and bring some plastic grocery bags with you to bag-up your subs. If you can't be here, someone in your family needs to be here.

OPEN FIELDS!!!

The softball team will have open fields on Mondays and Wednesdays starting on October 6th.

Weather permitting we will be on the diamond from 2:30 - 4:00.

Softball Sub Sale

We're selling subs for Myrtle Beach. The 6" subs are $4.00 each with 3 types of meat, cheese, sauce, and banana peppers (optional).

We will sell them until Friday, Oct. 17. Everyone's order form is due on that day. Be sure to have all checks made payable to: Carlisle Athletic Boosters.

We will make the subs on Saturday, Oct. 25 in the high school commons from 9:00 - 12:00. We need players, parents, and coaches to make all of the subs in an assembly line. We will deliver the subs that weekend or on Monday.

Carlisle loses to a tough Blanchester team.

The Carlisle softball team lost in the sectional finals on Saturday, 4-1, to #2 seeded Blanchester. The Indians finished the season 14-13 overall and 8-4 in the SWBL Buckeye.

Indians defeat Astros, 10-0!!!

The Carlisle Softball team defeated East Clinton on Thursday 10-0 in five innings. Desirae Bryant got the win after facing only 18 batters and giving up only 2 hits and 1 walk. The Indians await the winner of the Badin/Blanchester game for the sectional final. Their game was postponed until Friday. The date and time of the sectional final will most likely be announced on Friday.

Indians finish 2nd in SWBL Buckeye!

The Carlisle softball team finished 2nd this year behind the Madison Mohawks. The regular season record was 13-12 overall and 8-4 in the league. The JV team finished an impressive season at 16-1 with their only loss coming to Madison. Congratulations to both teams and all of the coaches.

The varsity starts tournament play on Wednesday versus East Clinton. The game will be at 3:30 at Waynesville.

Carlisle receives #3 seed!

The Indians softball team received a #3 seed in the Div. III Dayton Sectional. Their first game will be versus #9 seed East Clinton on Wednesday 5/14 @ 3:30 at Waynesville High School. Ticket prices for all sectional games are $5.00 and can be purchased at the gate. Indians in 2nd place!

Carlisle went 2 and 2 this past week, beating Twin Valley South and Preble Shawnee while losing to Madison and Eaton. The team is 11-11 and 6-3 in the SWBL Buckeye Div. which places them in 2nd place behind Madison. The sectional tournament draw is on Sunday and the Indians are hoping to receive a top 4 seed and a good draw.

The JV team continues to have a great season winning 2 more games this week. They defeated Madison (avenging their only loss of the season) and Eaton, which makes their record 14-1.

Softball team goes 3 and 3 for the week.

The team defeated Northridge, Clinton Massie, and Springboro while losing to Monroe, Milton Union and Springboro (second game of Saturday's double header). The team's record is 9-9 and 5-2 in the SWBL, which places the Indians in second place behind Madison.

JV Softball having a nice season.

The JV softball team is now 9-1 on the season with the only loss coming to Madison on Monday. The girls beat West Carrollton on Thursday and Bellbrook on Friday in extra innings.

Indians face some tough competition.

Monday, the softball team took Madison into the bottom of the ninth inning, but lost 6-5. The loss was the team's first loss in the SWBL. Wednesday, the Indians won vs. National Trail. The team exploded in the fourth inning for 8 runs and went on to run-rule the Trailblazers 13-2. Thursday, the team faced a nice pitcher and team from West Carrollton and lost 5-0. Friday, the Indians lost a tough game to Bellbrook, 10-6. The team's record is 6-6 and 4-1 in the SWBL, which places the Indians in second place behind Madison.

The next game is on Monday @ Northridge.

Indians undefeated in SWBL!

Carlisle is going into a big game with Madison on Monday undefeated (4-0) in the SWBL. They defeated Waynesville 1-0, Northridge 11-1, and Dixie 18-6 last week. In non-league action, the girls lost to Valley View 10-0 on Tuesday and lost two great games with Little Miami on Saturday. The first game was decided in the bottom of the 7th...10-9, and the second game ended up 16-14. The team's overall record is 5-3.

Stefaney Turner honored!

Stefaney Turner was named the Subway "High School Athlete of the Week." Stef is 2-0 as a starting pitcher so far this season, and she is batting .800 with two doubles and two RBIs.
