Sectional Final...

The varsity softball team lost to Blanchester in the sectional final on Thursday, 3-0. Both teams played flawless defense, but we just couldn't get a string of hits necessary to plate a few runs. Our season ends with a 13-12 record, 7-5 in the SWBL.

The team banquet will be Tuesday, May 25th @ 7:00 at Pisanello's Pizza. We will eat pizza and pass out awards.

Sectional Final Postponed (again)...

The sectional final game with Blanchester is now scheduled for Thursday @ 4:00 at Waynesville High School. Varsity softball players will be dismissed at 1:00. We will take batting practice at 1:30 and the bus will be ready to leave around 2:15-2:30.

Sectional Final...

The sectional final game will be played on Wednesday at 5:30 at Waynesville High School. We will play after the Madison/Hamilton Badin sectional final, which begins at 4:00.

Week 7...

This week, we played Franklin in our annual "Strike Out Cancer" game where we unfortunately lost 6-4. We did however raise over $300 for cancer research (not counting Franklin's share). On Thursday, we opened tournament play by beating Dayton Christian 4-3. We will now play Blanchester on Monday in the sectional finals. The game will be at 5:00 at Franklin Community Park.

Week 6...

Week 6 was a good one for the Varsity softball team, as we beat Fenwick 9-6 on Tuesday and Eaton 14-2 on Wednesday. Our overall record is now 12-10. We will play Franklin on Monday in our annual "Strike Out Cancer" game. Monday will also be senior day.

On Wednesday, we will open tournament play at home vs. the Greeneview/Dayton Christian winner. The game will be at 5:00. Tickets are $5.00 for the sectional tournament games. If we win on Wednesday, we will play in the sectional finals on Monday 5/17 at Franklin Community Park against the Waynesville/Blanchester winner.

Game with Franklin moved to Monday...

The "Strike Out Cancer" game with Franklin has been moved to Monday. The Varsity will play at Carlisle and the JV will play at Franklin...game times are 5:00.

Week 5...

It was a tough week for the Varsity softball team, as we went 1-3. On Tuesday, we lost a close game with Brookville, 4-3. On Wednesday, we beat Dixie 6-2. Thursday brought another very tough loss vs. Waynesville, 3-2. Friday, we lost to Preble Shawnee, 12-6. Our record is now 10-10 and 7-5 in the SWBL Buckeye.

Despite the tough week, we were able to get the #3 seed in the sectional tournament where we will play the winner of Greeneview (#7 seed) vs. Dayton Christian (#8 seed). Saturday games are cancelled...

Saturday's doubleheader with Milton Union has been rained out. Listen to the announcements on Monday for Varsity practice times. The JV plays Brookville at home on Monday and the Varsity plays at Fenwick on Tuesday.
